Final Girls Theater Company was founded to address the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles in theatrical productions. Our mission is to produce plays with a women-led cast and leadership.

Witches, Bitches, Britches: A Mezzo - Soprano Cabaret.
October 3, 2026 at 7:30pm at The Rat NYC
NYC's newest women-led indie theater company presents WITCHES, BRITCHES, BITCHES: A Mezzo-Soprano Cabaret. This fundraiser cabaret, featuring an all-female ensemble, will be directed by Brooke Hall with musical direction by Kaitlyn LeBaron. Danielle Wu will accompany on keyboard.
It's a tale as old as time: sopranos get to be in the spotlight, playing princesses, lovers, and ingenues, while mezzo-sopranos get stuck with the witches, the britches, and...well...the bitches.But hey, mezzos aren't bad, they're just written that way. Featuring iconic character songs from the musical theater canon and some lesser-known numbers you'll soon fall in love with, the Final Girls are celebrating the power and range of the mezzo-soprano voice. After all, not everyone has what it takes to play second fiddle.
This cabaret is a FUNDRAISER EVENT. All proceeds will go towards Final Girls’ next production, helping to pay for a performance venue, rehearsal space, costumes, props, and more.

Final Girls Theater Company presented their debut production, IN THE NEXT ROOM (OR: THE VIBRATOR PLAY) by Sarah Ruhl, with performances scheduled at Vino Theater, located at 274 Morgan Avenue in Brooklyn. The production, directed by Brooke Hall, featured an all-female cast.
Set at the end of the 19th century, the play follows Dr. Givings, a physician whose work centers on the use of a newly invented electric vibrator to treat women diagnosed with hysteria. As his patients and those around him begin to explore the effects of the treatment, the play examines shifting attitudes toward sexuality, gender, and autonomy.
